Quick Guide for Text Manipulation Tool
Objective: This tool will help you to easily add specific text to the beginning or end of multiple lines of text.
Use Case: Suppose you have a list of keywords related to “security cameras” and you want to optimize them for SEO or advertising purposes by adding modifiers such as “best” at the start or “In 2024” at the end.
Keywords Example:
- security cameras for home
- security cameras for business
- security cameras for sale
- security cameras for home outdoor
Tool Capabilities:
- Prepend Text: Add text to the beginning of each line.
- Append Text: Add text to the end of each line.
- Undo: Revert the last action if you made a mistake.
- Copy: Copy all the text to your clipboard.
Steps to Prepend Text:
- Enter the text you want to add to the start of each line in the “Type here…” input field. For example, type “best”.
- Click the “Apply to Start” button.
- The tool will add “best” to the start of each line in your list.
Result:
- best security cameras for home
- best security cameras for business
- best security cameras for sale
- best security cameras for home outdoor
Steps to Append Text:
- Enter the text you want to add to the end of each line in the “Type here…” input field. For example, type “In 2024”.
- Click the “Apply to End” button.
- The tool will add “In 2024” to the end of each line in your list.
Result:
- security cameras for home In 2024
- security cameras for business In 2024
- security cameras for sale In 2024
- security cameras for home outdoor In 2024
Undoing an Action:
- If you added text by mistake, click the undo button (represented by a circular arrow icon) at the bottom-left corner of the text area to revert the last change.
Copying the Text:
- Once you’re satisfied with the changes, click the copy button (represented by a clipboard icon) at the bottom-right corner of the text area to copy all the text to your clipboard.
Note:
- The undo feature has a history limit. If you keep making changes without saving, older changes may not be reversible.
